Thomas Tatem, 65, Grandview, MO passed away Jan. 9, 2009 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday Jan. 14, 2009 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Family will greet friends at the funeral home from 2-3 PM on the 14th. Mr. Tatem was born Aug. 4, 1943, in Queens, NY. Thomas graduated from Ashland Theological Seminary in May 1993, and was ordained by Harvest Network International. He was a member of the Ohio chapter Eta Beta Rho, and was awarded National Honor Society of Hebrew Scholars on May 6, 1992. He is preceded in death by a brother James Gardner Tatem. Thomas is survived by his wife of 24 years Therese, and two sons Joshua and wife Katelynn, and Seth and wife Amanda. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Community Church (Orphanage in Kenya) and may be collected at the funeral home or mailed to Pastor Paul Laursen 35583 Drake St. North, Ridgeville, Ohio 44039.
