Thomas Aulden Harding

Thomas Aulden Harding, 24, passed away suddenly on November 21 at his home in Lee’s Summit. His family grieves a loss that feels immeasurable, remembering a young man with a kind heart, quiet strength, and a bold spirit that could light up the room.

Thomas loved his dog, Meech, who was his constant companion. He was known for helping others without hesitation and for the unwavering loyalty he showed his friends. Those who knew him will forever remember his gentle nature and the way he showed up for others when they needed him most.

He is survived by his father, George W. Harding IV, and stepmother, Mary Harding of Yucaipa, CA; his mother, Rhoda Love, and stepfather, Jason Love of Lee’s Summit, MO; his brother, George W. Harding V of St. Louis, MO; his stepbrother, Tyler Lawson of Orange, CA; his grandparents, Ralph and Alona Johnson of Lee’s Summit, MO; his aunts, Francie Harding of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Connie Aubin of St. Charles, MO; and many cousins who loved him dearly.

A celebration of life will be planned in the spring.

For those wishing to honor Thomas’s memory, donations may be made to the Lee’s Summit Animal Shelter at 1991 SE Hamblen Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64082, where he adopted his beloved dog, Meech.

Thomas’s life was far too short, but he leaves behind love, memories, and the quiet legacy of a soul who cared deeply for others.
