Thomas G. Blankenship, Sr., 74, of Blue Springs, Mo passed away November 25, 2020 at The Kansas City Veterans Affairs Hospital. A military graveside service is planned for March 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS 66048. Mr. Blankenship was born June 23, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Lavergn and Helen Blankenship.
Thomas was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He as also an avid ham radio operator his call name was K0TGB.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Lynn, his children; Thomas, Jr., Tracy, Sonja, Jennifer and Emily, step-children Megan and Jason Peeler. He is also survived by his siblings; Rebecca, Daniel, Ruth, John and Martha.
