Thomas K. Eubank of Raytown , MO passed away Aug 30, 2018 at home at Age 79. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with close friends and family and cracking one-liners. He was an avid reader and switched to audible books after becoming legally blind. He spent 4 yrs in the Navy and used the GI bill to get BS in Mathematics from UMKC. He started in the factory at Western Electric and worked his way up to the position of Information Systems Programmer. He also taught evening computer science classes at Longview Community College. He took early retirement from Alcatel Lucent and retired at age 51. Early retirement allowed him to babysit his granddaughter and play games like “Chip the Wonder Dog” and school. He loved square dancing, round dancing, and wood working. He was an Eagle Scout in the Mic-O-Say Tribe and a member of Longview Chapel Disciples of Christ serving as a deacon and in the men’s club for a time. He leaves a wife of 60 yrs, Mary Lou Eubank, son Edward K. Eubank and wife Davnah, daughter Melanie Eubank and granddaughter Dana Pollard, step granddaughter Keauna Kreeger. Private family services will be held at a later date.
