I loved Tom!! He was a custodian in my building when I first became a teacher and he was ever so kind as to ask if he could move my car closer to the door for me when I would stay late at night and work. He always brought me fudge each Christmas and even gave my two sons a large collection of action heroes once. Tom was the kindest, sweetest man and he will be greatly missed.

Tom always took the time to talk to me and ask me how and what we were doing (Kirt and I). His fudge was amazing and his zeal for doing a good job at work was to be admired. I ditto everything Meredith said above. He has left a legacy of care and kindness to all!

I coach basketball and Tom was ALWAYS in the gym. He thought it was hilarious when I was 9 months pregnant and our stomachs were the same size. We took a picture and always laughed years after I had my son 🙂 He was a wonderful man and we always had great conversations. He also always brought fudge to us, that was delicious! I will forever cherish his smile and legacy. Sending my thoughts, love, and prayers to friends and family.

I worked as an event supervisor at LSWest for ten years. Tom was always with us in the evenings and weekends for events, setting up, making sure we had equipment we needed, and generally being his wonderful outgoing self. He would always make me laugh. I missed him when he retired, and the news of his passing broke my heart. Sending prayers for comfort and strength for the family and close friends during this time.
