Tim Yim, 93, of Kansas City, MO passed away August 27, 2023. She was born July 7, 1930 in Kampong Speu, Cambodia.
Tim was a farmer and continued her passion throughout her life. She enjoyed growing plants and vegetables and would often find friends and family to give them away to. She also enjoyed sewing, doing alterations on clothing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by: husband, Chuon Phuong; and parents, Yem Yim and Sam Tun.
Survivors include: son, Lee Chuon; daughter-in-law, Kim Chuon; sister, Lim Yim; grandchildren, Richard Chuon, Monica Winkler and Angelica Chuon; and four great-grandchildren, Emelia, Lily, Camden and Jacob Winkler.
Visitation will take place from 1:00pm-2:00pm, Friday, September 8, 2023 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown, MO 64133. Funeral service will take place following the visitation from 2:00pm-3:00pm.
