Tom Judah







Tom S. Judah, 69, of Boonville entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at his home.  A memorial service will be held Sunday November 23, 2008 at Valley Hope, 1415 Ashley Rd., Boonville, MO at 2:00 p.m.  Tom was born in St. Joseph, MO on November 23, 1938 to the late Willis and Helen (Butler) Judah.  On November 12, 1988 he married Dora Smith and she survives him of the home.  He was a state and internationally certified Substance Abuse Counselor last at Boonville Valley Hope and a member of AA for over 36 years.  Tom is also survived by his sister Nancy Mize of Wilmington, NC, his daughter Holli Murray and family of Olathe, KS, a stepdaughter Cindy Gunter and husband Bart of St. Joseph, MO, a stepson Marty Smith of Roeland Park, KS, grandchildren Veronica, Jacob, Michael, Joseph, Elizabeth and Rebekah of St. Joseph, MO and Jeremy Spring and Tracie Spring both of Kansas City, MO as well as several Judah cousins.  Memorials are suggested to Valley Hope Association, 1415 Ashley Rd., Boonville, MO 65233.

    So sorry to hear of Tom’s death. He was a member of the T.A. Edison 8th grade class of ’52 and has attended a couple of our reunions. We, as a class, were proud of his accomplishments. He will be missed. His family will be in my pryaers.

    Dear Dora, We were so saddened to hear of Tom’s passing. Rocky will always hold him dear in his heart. He was such a big part of his recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Dora, I a saddened to hear of Tom passing. But remember the wonderful years that you have enjoyed and know that he is always watching over us. Tom has helped so many people that he has earned his wings. He has counseled many here at Green Hills CAA when he was with Preferred Family. Call us if you ever need a laugh to remember all the fun he was full of.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to Tom’s family. I worked with Tom at Preferred Health and again when I worked at GHCAA in Hamilton where he had an office. Tom was a great co-worker and friend. Dora he praised you often and respected and loved you greatly.
