Una Masoner, 87, of Raytown, Missouri passed away September 19, 2022 at Shangri-La Rehab from natural causes. She was born February 28, 1935 to Ellis and Gladys Chappell in Montseratt, Missouri. She lived in the Knob Noster and Warrensburg areas as a child, before moving to the Kansas City area. After attending College High School, she went on to work for Research Medical Center, retiring with over 20 years of service. She was a long time member of Longview Chapel Christian Church. Una was an avid reader and enjoyed canning. She was also a very talented cook and would make incredible meals.
Una was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Masoner, Sr.; four brothers, one sister and one grandson.
Survivors include her children Chuck Masoner, Linda Masoner, Brian Masoner, and Ron Masoner; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; brothers Ellis Chappell and Holmes Chappell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30pm, Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Longview Chapel Christian Church, 850 SW Longview Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081.

I am sorry for your loss. Una was quite a gal. The times I visited with her was a joy. She enjoyed her children. She made an impact on my life and she will have a special place my memories. I have been blessed to have known her.
