Veldarene J. Gann, 85, Independence, MO passed away January 10, 2012.  Visitation will be held 1-2:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2012 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM.  Burial in Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO.  Veldarene was born June 2, 1926 in Buffalo, MO.  She was a bus driver for the Raytown Schools for 18 years until her retirement in 1976.  Vedarene is preceded in death by; parents, Claude & Norma (Harmon) Gann; son, Richard Charles Gann.  Survivors include; husband of 64 years, Charles, of the home; sons, Frank Gann, Springfield, MO, Russell Gann, Independence, MO; brother, Don Gann, Windsor, MO; sisters, Dottie Ramsey, Independence, MO, Dorothy Whetsten, Lampe, MO, Diane Coffelt, Chestnut Ridge, MO; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.  (arr.
