Vernon Paul Heffner, 78, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on August 3, 2020 Delmar Gardens of O’Fallon, Missouri. A Memorial Gathering will be held at 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri on Friday, August 28, 2020. A Military Service with Honors will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
Mr. Heffner was born on December 4, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri to Douglas and Cecelia Heffner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Cook Heffner in 2012.
Vernon is survived by his wife, Debborah; daughter, Carolyn; sons, Jeffery & Jennifer and Michael & Cindy; as well as three grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Evan.
