Vicki Jean (Jeannie) Taylor, 54, passed away February 24th, 2010 at 4:00am at Veteran’s Memorial Hospital in Kansas City, MO in the arms of her daughters. She was survived by her husband Christopher Allen Taylor; daughters Maggie Swearngin, Sarah Swearngin and Sue (Bryan) Hey; son Michael Allen Taylor; grandchildren Parker Bay Morley, Ryder Volley Swearngin and Baby Hey; sister Micki Ann Dansereau; nieces Kristin, Kari and Katy. Reunited in heaven with her father, Walton Volley Mims; mother, Mary Annette Mims; and brother, Konrad Randall Mims. Jeannie was born on April 7th, 1955 in Mobile, Alabama. She proudly served her country for six years in the United States Air Force as a communications specialist. Jeannie had a very compassionate nature and was an avid animal lover. She was a free-spirit and loving soul who sincerely cared for and enjoyed everyone she met throughout her life. Nothing could light up her face more than seeing her three beautiful daughters and how proud she was of each of them. She will be missed lovingly by everyone who was graced by her presence and unique spirit. Services will be held Friday, February 26th, 2010 at The Eudora Chapel, 1003 John L Williams, Eudora, KS 66025.
