Victor Freuning

Victor Allan Freuning, 66, of Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013, after a lengthy battle with cancer.  Victor was born June 7, 1947 to Lottie Hutson Freuning and Allan Melton Freuning.  He attended school in Wentzville, MO and served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1974 in communications, on the U.S.S.  Kitty Hawk, and U.S.S. Oxford, in Viet Nam, Cyprus, and the Philippines.  After his years of military service he worked in finance, car sales, and business management.  He was an avid golfer.  Victor is survived by his mother, Lottie Roach of Jonesburg, MO, two sisters, Lois Lee (Carl) of Fishers Indiana, Tammy Evans (Jim) of Princeton, MO, one brother, Chris Freuning , of Wentzville, MO, three nephews, Preston and Eric Foster and  Kevin Lee, three stepchildren, Rebecca Klippel, Angela Nation, and Gordon Pitts, eight step grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren. Also left behind is his best friend and Love, Linda Crow of Columbia, MO.  Victor was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Linda Foster.  He will be sadly missed by many friends and loved ones.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, in Jacksonville, MO.
