It is hard to believe that Vickie was so sick. I ran into her at HyVee’s in Olathe about a 1 year & half ago. She looked so happy, she told me that she had moved to Olathe to be near her son. God bless her son & family for looking after her. My prayers & thoughts are with the Dockett’s & Hernandez family may our dear Lord help them in their time of grief.

Heaven seems more near, when our loved ones are there. I will always remember the sweet laughs Vicki and my mom, Jane Yancey, had together. It was wonderful to to hear their “take” on things. They shared a sweet, little grand daughter, Lexi, which both loved so dearly. Now, all that grandma love is in heaven, but we will see them again one day and what a reunion that will be. Love and hugs to all the family, and especially to Curtis, Lexi, and little Curtis, Jr.! May the peace of God rule your hearts, as you grieve Vicki’s passing. Her sweet spirit and kindness towards others will be missed.
