Vincent Grady, 70, of Sugar Creek, passed away Sun., Aug. 12, 2012, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, MO. Vincent was born March 14, 1942, in Kansas City, MO, to William and Beatrice (Mills) Grady. He served as a medic in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1969. He lived in Orange County, CA, where he operated his own business, O’G’sCustom Carpet from 1970 to 2006, when he returned to Missouri. He is survived by his brothers: William and wife Jaylene Grady of Pleasant Hill, MO, and Ernie Grady of Lake Winnebago, MO; a sister, Linda Sanchez of Sugar Creek, MO; nephews: William Grady, Jr., Neal Grady, Marcus Sanchez and Nicholas Sanchez; nieces: Terri Fox and Lori Grady; six great-nephews; one great-niece, a great-great-nephew, and his best friend, Michael Olinger. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Fri., Aug. 17, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133. A military graveside service will follow at 2 p.m., Friday, at The Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, 20109 Business Highway 13, Higginsville, MO 64037.
