Virginia M. Farris, 76, Kansas City, MO, passed away March 16, 2005, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. A Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Christ The King, 8510 Wornall Rd., KCMO. Visitation and Rosary will be at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund. Virginia was born in California, MO, the daughter of Thomas L. Callahan and Maude K. Callahan. She graduated from Lillis High School and was a long time member of Christ the King Church. Virginia is survived by her three children, Keith R. Farris, KCMO, Peggy A. Pike, Prairie Village, KS, and Robert M. Farris, Lee’s Summit, MO; three grandchildren, Jennifer L. Thompson, Overland Park, KS, Blake Farris and Taylor Farrris, both of Independence, MO; two great-grandchildren, Alex Hontz and Gavyn Thompson, both of Overland Park, KS; and many nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law; and her wonderful friends who checked in on her often. We love you dearly and will miss you forever.
