Wallace Ray “Wally” Schwartz, 66, of Columbia passed away November 2, 2017 at The Neighborhoods by Tiger Place in Columbia, Missouri.
Wally was born August 17, 1951 in Audrain County, Missouri.
His parents, Florence and Edna (Dusenberg) Schwartz, of New Franklin, Missouri preceded him in death.
He was united in marriage June 9, 1984 to Arlene Scrivner of Boonville, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife; son Craig (Kim) Schwartz of Agency, Iowa; daughter Robyn (Billy) Tate of Troy, Missouri; and grandchildren Caleb Schwartz, Allie Tate and Kyle Tate; brothers James Bridgewater, Gene Zigler and Raymond Zigler; sister Ella Shrader.
Wally enjoyed music, hunting, fishing and eating out, especially meals at the 63 Diner.
A memorial gathering will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 616 Jackson St., Columbia, Missouri on Thursday, November 9 from 5 to 7pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
