Walter E. Foster, 87, of Olathe, Kansas passed away March 26, 2018 at 8:47PM at Aberdeen Village. Memorial service will begin at 10:30AM, Saturday, April 07, 2018 at Aberdeen Village 17500 W 119th St., Olathe, Kansas with reception to follow.

Mr. Foster was born May 28, 1930 in Raytown, Missouri. Walt graduated high school from Raytown High School then graduated college from the University of Kansas School of Engineering with honors. He retired as a partner from Black & Veatch.

He was preceded in death by wife Helen Louise Smith Foster, father Emery Lawrence Foster, mother Laura Frances Muir Foster Tisdale, and sister Patricia Pettegrew.

Survivors include children; Celeste (Ken) Brown, Lisa (Steve) Gebert, and Jeff Foster, grandchildren; Brandon Maulfair, Jenni Maulfair, Kelly Gebert, A.J. (Sarah) Gebert, Candy Brown, and Carly Brown, and great-grandchildren Wyatt Leonard and Remington Tune.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Parkinson’s Research Foundation or the Aberdeen Village Benevolent Fund.
