Walter E. Holland

Walter E. Holland, 78, Blue Springs, Mo passed away December 18, 2018 in Independence, Mo.  Walter was born May 24, 1940 in Amarillo, Texas to Addie Ethel (Bell) and William Golden Holland. He graduated from Dumas High School in 1958. He was a Radarman in the US Navy from 1959 to 1966. Following his time in the service he earned a degree from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin in 1977. He served as president of Tri-City Youth in Borger from 1979 to 1987.

He is survived by his wife Linda of the home in Blue Springs, Mo, daughter Michelle (Keith) McNutt of Borger, Tx, son Shawn (Tara) Holland of Chandler, Az, stepsons Todd (Adriana) McDonald of San Leon, Tx and Tray Fitzpatrick of Blue Springs, Mo, stepdaughters Tanya Wisdom of Independence, Mo and Timberlyn (Bruce) Trask of Blue Springs, Mo, a brother Dennis (Sue) Holland of Tyler, Tx, sister Barbara (Roy) Osborne of Corinth, Tx, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
