Walter Samuel Short, Jr. 66 passed away on Dec 12, 2007. He lived in Belton, formerly of Corder, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Ruth Short, one brother George Short, one sister Emily Maxwell. He is survived by his sister Leita Schumaker, Corder, MO. Also survived by his children, Kevin Short and Shelly Short, Marshall, MO; Kindall Brewer, Harrison, AR; Angela McCormick, Janesville, CA; 4+ grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, along with dear friends. Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. Hoeffer Funeral Home, Higginsville, MO, on January 19, 2008, with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 on same.
