Wanda Jewell Fraga

Wanda Jewell Fraga, 79, of Holts Summit, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014 after complications from an acute illness. Our Mother was a one of a kind very special woman. She was unconditionally devoted to her children. She loved her family more than anything. Her greatest joys were cooking for her family and getting together whenever possible. She was happiest surrounded by her family and pets. She loved animals, having several that were her beloved companions. Rural living was her preferred home where she enjoyed the scenery and catering to the local birds. She is survived by her six children: Luanne Andes (Tom), Loralynn Sullivan, Donald Fraga (Carla), Charles Fraga (Bret Sanders), John Fraga (Melanie) and David Sullivan (deceased). Six Grandchildren: Andy Halferty (Alicia), Zachariah Fraga, Chelsea and Jamie Andes and Luc and Nicolas Fraga. Beloved Pets: Sadie, Jazz and Sputnik. A graveside service for immediate family is planned. In lieu of flowers we are asking that in memory of this remarkable woman donations be made to: Callaway Hills Animal Shelter, PO Box 35, New Bloomfield MO 65063 (573) 896-4049.

    Dear John, Melanie and family,
I’m very sorry for your loss. The obituary was beautiful. She was a woman who loved all if God’s creations on earth, it seems and, she as well, was cherished by her family and pets .
She rests peacefully now. And all those precious memories remain forever in your heart and so will she. Once again I’m sorry for your loss .

    Sincerely,
    Teresa Rice

Mama Wanda, a mama to all.
    A rock. A Jewel.
Prettiest smile I’ve ever seen and
the sparkle in her eyes that came with it!
Always welcoming you with food and sincere conversation. You left her presence feelin’ good about things.
She made the world seem simpler and every little thing alright.
Forever in my heart! I love you, mama Wanda.
