Wanda Kolar, 81, Kansas City, MO passed away January 13, 2006 surrounded by her loving daughter and son-in-law . A memorial service will be held 10am, Saturday, January 21, 2006 at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, Raytown, MO. Wanda was born December 21, 1924 in Poland. She loved to work in her yard, spend time with her grandchildren and going to Polish related celebrations. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Anton ?Tony? Kolar, Jr.; her parents; 2 brothers; adopted mother, Josephine Bortko; adopted sister, Bernice and adopted brother, Stanley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Gary Merrill; adopted sister, Sophie Gerbowiec and family; adopted brother, Edward Bortko and family; grandson, Richard Anton Stuhr; great-grandson, Payton Michael Anton Marshall; granddaughter, Kellie (Jason) Marshall; step-granddaughter, Stacey Lamb and family and step-grandson, Christopher Merrill and family.
