Wayne Wilson

Wayne Wilson, 91, of Mission, Kan., passed away June 13, 2007, at Sweet Life at Rosehill Nursing Center after a short illness. Cremation. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions to Southridge Presbyterian Church or Heartland Hospice. Wayne was born October 30, 1915, in West Baden, Ind. After marrying his wife Helen (Lane) Wilson, they found their way to Johnson County, Kan., where he and partner Albert Drake, owned and operated Wilson-Drake Appliances in Mission for many years. He was preceded in death by his daughter Fonda Sturgeon, and her husband Lawrence (Larry) Sturgeon. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen, his daughters Sue Wilson and Deborah Woodbury and son-inlaw Frank Woodbury.
