Wendy Kusler

Wendy Kusler, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away January 7, 2022. Celebration of life services will be held later this year due to COVID.

Wendy was born September 15, 1960 in Kansas City, KS. Wendy was a Respiratory therapist for 30 years before needing to retire due to health issues. She graduated from Muncie Christian School and Bethany Hospital Respiratory Therapy. Wendy was a kind, loving sister, partner, mother, and friend. She loved vacationing in the Colorado mountains, painting, drawing, playing golf, biking, and spending time with her daughter and dogs.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Ronald and Margretta; and brother, Jack.

Survivors include: sister, Hope Crider of Mississippi; nephews, Travis and Derek; partner, Debbie King; daughter, Christina King-Kusler; brother-in-law, Daniel Hosier; sister-in-laws, Nichole Hosier and Doreen Jeffreys-Gibson; nephew, Eric Jeffreys, Talon Hosier; nieces, Teagan and Kody Hosier; best friend, Sue Rosario; and many wonderful friends.

Memorial contributions are suggested to: American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation.

    I’ve known Wendy for a very long time. I cut her hair years ago and also her Mom and brother Jack.
    See was always kind and pleasant to talk to. She will be missed. I send my sincere condolences to Debbie, Christina and Sue and Hope.

    I will miss Wendy’s wonderful sense of humor, her laugh, and smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with my sister Debbie, my niece Christina and Wendy’s best friend Sue. Wendy will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have her in our lives.
