Wilka Storz

Wilka O. Storz, 88, of Columbia, entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2007 at The Bluffs in Columbia. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Woodcrest Chapel, 2201 W. Nifong in Columbia with Bill Todd officiating. Mrs. Storz was born on January 23, 1918 in Dyersburg, TN to the late John and Effie (Holt) Watkins. She married Fred Storz on February 18, 1939 in Flint, MI and he survives he. Wilka was not only an accomplished bridge player but enjoyed teaching her love of the game to others. She loved to play golf and was a member of the ACBL. Wilka is also survived by two daughters: Debbie & Jim Propes of Columbia, Diane & Roger Meier of Flint, MI, one sister Doris Hoffner of Bloomfield Hills, MI as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
