Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute
William Nelson Faust, age 68, died peacefully in his home on Friday evening. Bill was a Navy veteran and decorated Kansas City, MO. police officer who served the community for over 28 years. After retiring from the police department, Bill and his wife Roberta built a geodesic dome house. With the exception of the foundation, the home was built entirely by the couple themselves. Bill and Roberta operated a very successful bed and breakfast from their home, named “Dome Ridge” for many years. Over time, Dome Ridge was featured in many magazines and newspaper articles for its uniqueness, scenery, and craftsmanship. Bill is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Roberta; daughters Carla and Cheryl; son Bill, and stepson Brent. Last but certainly not least, Bill leaves behind his beloved Boston terrier, “Pugh.” The Faust family would like to thank all the wonderful people who showed their support during this difficult time. The Faust’s would especially like to thank the people at Crossroads hospice for the incredible care and compassion they showed Bill and his family. Per Bill’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
