William A. Dobyns, 79, of Blue Springs, MO passed away February 11. 2020. Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, Sunday, March 1, 2020 at Smoke Barrel Room, 209 SE Main St Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.

Mr. Dobyns was born on December 9, 1940 in Nevada, MO. William retired from the Kansas City Missouri Fire Department. He also volunteered a the Lake City Arsenol Shooting Range.

Survivors include: wife, Carole Dobyns; son, Michael (Socorro) Dobyns; son, Randal (Leslie) Dobyns; daughter, Teresa (Steven) Hibbs; grandchildren, Andra (Brock) Bolen, Lorelie Dobyns, Madeline Dobyns, Tiffany Hibbs, Stephanie Hibbs and Jacob Dobyns; great grandsons, Archer and Brody Bolen; cousins, Donna Bosstic and John Crist.

Memorial contributions are suggested to: Alzheimer Association, American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.

    So sorry to hear of your loss. Some of my best memories are from the years I worked with Al.
    John (Tvedten) and Al are probably swapping stories of some of our adventures.
    We are currently snow-birding in Florida and will be unable to attend the memorial.
