After serving his country, Bill attended the General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan. He had a successful career as a contract piping designer where he designed facilities such as chemical treatment and ethanol plants. In 1977, Bill met the love of his life, Edie. They were married 46 years.

Bill was a man of faith and sought guidance and comfort from his relationship with Lord Jesus. He enjoyed the simple things in life – a good cup of coffee while sitting outside on the patio, and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved to cook for his friends and family. His happiness came from their happiness. He was known for his unconditional generosity and fierce love of family. We love and miss you, Bill, Dad, Papa.
