William Fred Cunningham, Jr., age 74, a lifelong Columbia resident, passed away April 14, 2021, at South Hampton Place, ending his battle with cancer.

Bill was born February 20, 1947 to Anna Kassman and William Fred Cunningham. They preceded him in death, as did his cherished baby son, Terry Lynn.

Bill graduated from Hickman High School in 1965. He worked for MFA Oil Company for more than 40 years. He is survived by cousins and a large group of friends. A celebration of life is planned for a later date.

    Bill was like a father to me. He was also a great friend. I am now the business manager for a Harley-Davidson dealership in Las Vegas. I have been married for almost 25 years, with 4 great children and 1 beautiful granddaughter. I owe everything to this man. The world is a lesser place without you Bill. I will always love you.

    I would like to know if William Fred cunningham had a sister by the name of Nellie Mae Griffith who was a long time secretary at Wilkes Blvd Meth Church in Columbia
