William J. Smart

William Joseph Smart, 71, of Portland, MO passed away, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.  A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Smart home, 8811 State Rd. D, Portland, MO 65067.  William is survived by his wife Pauline of the home, his daughters Dawn Whalen and Judy Lees, his sons Brian Smart, Keith Smart and Bob Smart, his brother Eddie Smart and his sister Mariliss Rainwater as well as 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

    Grandpa I miss you so much, even though i dont show it on the outside you know what im feeling on the inside. Going through all the pictures I have of us together reminds me that you would want me to be happy and know that even though i cant see you i can still feel you. forever in our hearts.
