William “Wild Bill” Drury

William D. “Wild Bill” Drury, 69, Shawnee, KS, passed away Mon., July 16, 2012, at the Kansas City VA Hospital, Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. Mon., July 23, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Bill was born July 15, 1943, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Art and Frances Drury. He was in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Gold River Auction in Olathe, until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; two sons, William Drury, Jr., wife, Sarina, and Douglas Drury, wife, Brenda; one daughter, Cheryl Linhardt and husband, Steve; granddaughters, Cassidy and Ginger Drury; grandsons, Billy Drury, Dustan Barnett, Trevor, Jeremy and Cory Dunn and Dylan Linhardt; one brother, Art Drury and wife, Judy.
