Wilma E. Goss, 78, of Independence, Missouri was born January 15, 1941 in Slater, MO. She was the daughter of Charles and Juanita Thomas.

Wilma was known for her uncompromising support of family and friends. She was hardworking, honest, loving and so very loyal. Wilma loved animals, was athletic and enjoyed nature and the outdoors. She was a die hard Chiefs and Royals fan and loves Elvis too. She loved the beautiful summer days and watching the colorful night sunsets.

Her hobbies included camping, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing and rafting, bowling, crafts, working puzzles, playing cards and oh how she loved to travel. From Hawaii, Alaska, New York, the Caribbean, Mexico, Florida, Texas, California, and most of the in between. She traveled via RV, plane, boat, train or horseback, it didn’t matter to her as long as she was traveling.

She enjoyed it all as long as she was doing it with family and friends.

Her life was not always easy, it came with struggles, heartaches and some pain, but she was strong and persevered. Her life was full; full of family, full of friends, full of adventure, full of life, love and fun.

At the end she came to know Jesus and now her future will be full as well; full of joy, full of peace, full of love, his presence and his glory.

Survivors include daughter Debbie Willis and daughter Cherie Worley, her sister Jane Greek and brother Robert Tomas, 4 grandchildren; Josh, Julie, Stanley, and Ross, and 3 great grandchildren; Landon, Maddox, and Adley, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and very dear friends.

She will be greatly missed until we’re together again.
