Wyvon “Pops” Nelson Poston, Kansas City, Missouri was born on December 26, 1948 to Wilma (Shipman) Poston and Clarence Poston. He passed on March 16, 2021 at KC VA Hospital. Funeral services will be held March 25, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Missouri. Visitation begins at 10:00 am & Services at 11:00 am. Wyvon was proceeded in death by both parents, two sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his children; seven sons – Jason (Katrina), Eric (Amanda), Wyvon Jr (Dianna), Ryan (Heather), Joshua, Juston (Tiffany) & Jared (Mina); six daughters – Destiny (Barry), Amber (Noah), Jenny, Sarah, Jessica (Russel) & Teighlor (Hayden). He is missed by all including thirty three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Eula Crowder and Pat Carnes and 2 brothers Clarence and Dwight Poston, and the mother of his children, Deb Loomis.

I knew Wyvon and Debbie when we both lived on Iran Ave in Mesa AZ. back in about 78-80. Deb ran down to me as she was delivering a daughter. Then on another where on of the kids had to be Air Evaced out. Her and I were close friends. Spent a lot of time together. I saw the name of his next of kin and I recognize almost everyone’s names that were their children. My name at that time was Patty Lowe
