Xochitl Garcia Kelley, 92, of Kansas City, MO passed away July 14, 2023. Memorial services will be held from 3-8pm, Friday, August 4, 2023 at Fleming Meeting Hall, Blue Springs, MO.
Xochitl was born November 7, 1930 in Mexico City. Xochitl, from the Aztec culture meaning “flower” studied art and painting 1948-1990. She graduated from secretarial school and accounting. As a practicing artist she exhibited her art work in Lenexa City Hall, the Mexican consulate, Johnson County Community College, Albrecht-Kemper Museum and Mosaic Hospital.
She was preceded in death by: Gaspara Dominguez Avila.
Survivors include: daughter, Michelle X. Tackett; son, Guillermo Lopez Garcia; granddaughter, Cristina Todd; granddaughter, Briana Kelley Deo; and great-granddaughter, Isabella Todd.
